Bahasa Bali, as it is called in Indonesian, or Basa Bali as it is called in Balinese is an ancient language, steeped in the rich cultural history of Asia. Descended from Pali and Sanskrit, this language reflects the beliefs, traditions, rituals and ways of life of the Balinese people.
The medium of instruction is bahasa Indonesia, therefore the learner would need to be at least an Intermediate Level in bahasa Indonesia. There are a number of very important reasons why being able to speak Bahasa Indonesia is a pre-requisite for learning Bahasa Bali:

I have been learning Basa Bali for 60 hours! I have loved studying with my teachers. Since I live in bali for 10 years and I have many Balinese friends, I have loved learning the Balinese language! They are also teaching me the Aksara written language of Balinese, which is the Sanskrit characters. Both Ace and Wulan are awesome and fun teachers, and I feel I have learned the Balinese languange very quickly from them! Suksma.
After studying Basa Bali on my own for 6 months, I'm glad I joined the Cinta Bahasa program. Private lessons were fun, and I got to ask all the question I had saved up. My teachers were very patient. I've expanded my vocab enormously, and become more fluent.
